The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority will join Congressman Jared Polis and Congressman Ed Perlmutter at their Housing Fair from 8 a.m. Until noon this Saturday at the Margaret Carpenter Recreation Center in Thornton, CHFA announced today.
The Housing Fair is designed to provide prospective home buyers with resources about homeownership in today’s market. Additionally, lenders and HUD-approved housing counselors will be on site to meet with homeowners seeking information about loan modifications and avoiding foreclosure or default. Workshops about buying a home, avoiding foreclosure, and talking with your lender will be offered as part of the event.
In addition to Polis and Perlmutter, those participating include American Home Mortgage Servicing, Inc., Bank of America, Chase, Wells Fargo, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, City of Thornton, Adams County Housing Authority, Colorado Foreclosure Hotline, HUD/FHA, and the Colorado Department of Regulatory Affairs.
