I’m sure if he and Edie believed the market is going to recover any time soon he would delay the sale. By him listing at this price they have no confidence the high end market will stabilize.

Don’t worry, they will be able to come back next summer to use the home again when it’s 100 degrees in NYC. It won’t be sold anytime soon.

When your home is costing you over $5k per day to carry and your paying $300k in commission. It would be nice to have your broker start marketing the home before it has been listed for 4 months.
