Casting call for HGTV handymen

You know the drill. And the hammer, saw, screwdriver and all of the other tools of a top-notch do-it-yourselfer.

If you think you can renovate a house better and for less money then a professional contractor, you might consider trying out for the “Professional Grade” HGTV show.

Professional Grade is in its second season and is casting for handy Denver-area homeowners. Maybe you are getting ready to start a kitchen, bathroom, basement or outdoor-renovation – or know someone about to tackle a home-improvement project. Professional Grade  is being produced locally by High Noon Entertainment.

Pit skills against a pro

In the show, homeowners go toe-to-toe with the professionals and take a shot at winning some serious cash. The big winner last season took home $40,000. Homeowners act as their own general contractors and when the renovation is done, experts price out the job based on quality. If their estimate is higher than what the homeowners spent, the homeowners pocket the cash difference.

Auditions are going on now. Candidates should go to Highnoonentertainment.com/casting.php and click on Professional Grade Button.
