Today, Richmond American Homes announced the official grand opening of its Richmond American Dream Collection, which it said is specifically designed to meet the demand for affordable, single-family houses in the Denver area.
Richmond American is owned by Denver-based M.D.C. Holdings Inc., one of the nation’s largest homebuilding companies.
The Dream Collection homes are priced from the low $200,000s and ranging in size from approximately 1,750 to more than 2,800 square feet, The homes have up to six bedrooms, four and a half baths and three-car garages.
While they are only being officially unveiled now, Richmond has been offering presales in the Dream Collection since January in 14 communities along the Front Range.
“We were determined to develop a series of homes under $250,000 that had all of the bells and whistles that today’s savvy homebuyers are looking for—dream kitchens, built-in tech centers and plenty of flex space to ensure buyers can configure their ideal homes,” said David Mandarich, president and Chief Operating Office of M.D.C.
Mandarich was instrumental in driving the development of this new product line.
“With our Richmond American Dream Collection, homebuyers have discovered that they can afford well-located, quality-built homes that include an abundance of upgraded standard features and a limited 10-year structural warranty,” Mandarich said. “We are very pleased to be able to offer such a smart choice in today’s economic climate. Plus, with low resale inventories, resale choices are limited. However, at Richmond American, we are committed to providing buyers with choices—from the variety of floor plans we offer to our commitment to the personalization of our homes to offering homes available for purchase at every stage of construction.”
