Bikini Chick plays role in Manning's home purchase

Alyson Kate McCoy, aka, Patriots Bikini Chick

I reported in July that Denver Bronco quarterback Peyton Manning paid $4.575 million for a 16,464-square-foot estate in Cherry Hills Village.

Records, which had not yet been filed with the Arapahoe County Assessor’s office at the time of the closing on July 10, show that the home was officially purchased by Wahoo Properties LLC.

Wahoo is a a “foreign limited liability company,” based in Indiana, according to the Colorado Secretary of State. The principal office for Wahoo is in care of John Palguta of Cleveland. Palguta is Manning’s longtime financial advisor.

In an interesting twist, one of Denver’s most high-profile “anti-fans” of Manning and the Broncos played a small role in the creation of Wahoo.

Alyson Kate McCoy, known as the “Patriots Bikini Chick” delivered the Wahoo file to the Secretary of State’s office on behalf of the LoDo law firm , the registered agent for Wahoo.

This is the house that Peyton Manning purchased in Cherry Hills Village in July.

McCoy, who at the time was a legal assistant at the law firm, received the bikini moniker while holding up a red, white and blue sign above her head at Sports Authority Field at Mile High last December, when the New England Patriots routed the Broncos 41-23. The sign said “Champ Bailey Stinks,” a not-so-nice reference to the beloved Bronco’s cornerback

McCoy earned the nickname the old-fashioned way. She was bearing a blue bikini with a red tie, while holding the sign. The photo of her snapped by Boston Herald Patriot’s reporter Ian Rapoport, quickly went viral on the Internet. Within minutes, McCoy identified herself as the Patriots Bikini Chick.

Although Tim Tebow was the quarterback during that trouncing, McCoy isn’t enamored with his replacement

“I am not a fan of Manning, as I am a Patriots fan and he has given us quite a run for our money,” McCoy told InsideRealEstateNews.com.

While John Elway and others hope that Manning leads the Broncos to the Super Bowl, no one will ever accuse McCoy of being a cheerleader for the Broncos.

“I definitely do not hope he brings the Broncos to a Super Bowl,”  she said. “I am from New England and I will continue to bleed red, blue and silver, even though I am in Denver.”

Last December’s game will likely not be the last sighting of McCoy’s alter-ego.

”I do plan to continue “Patriots Bikini Chick” this season and making new signs,” McCoy said. “Hopefully I will find myself in New England in October when Manning and the Broncos go to New England to face-off against my beloved Patriots.”
