Real estate agents at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Colorado last year handled more than $3.2 billion in real estate transactions along the Front Range, ranking it No. 1 on the Denver Business Journal’s authoritative Book of Lists.
It marked the 15th consecutive year that Coldwell Banker was ranked No. 1 for dollar volume by the DBJ.
With 1,008 registered agents, Coldwell Banker was twice the size of RE/MAX Alliance, No. 2 on the list, which had $2.24 billion in sales in 2012.
Coldwell Banker agents handled 11,378 transactions last year, which equates to 37.5 percent of the 30,312 transactions handled by the top five brokerage firms last year.
The dollar volume for Coldwell Banker was 39 percent higher than the $2.3 billion in closings in 2011. On a year-over-year basis, the number of transactions showed a similar trend, growing by 38.75 from 8,200 in 2011.

The 170 agents at Kentwood Real Estate had an average of more than $10 million in sales in 2012, the most per agent.
