- D Bar Restaurant is moving to One City Block.
- It will stay in Uptown.
- Two retail spaces remain at One City Block.
They are moving their current restaurant about a mile from 1475 E. 17th Ave. to a larger, 4,000-square-foot space at the corner of 19th Avenue and Pennsylvania St., where it will be the retail anchor for the luxury, 302-unit One City Block apartment community developed by RedPeak Properties.
“Denver and Uptown in particular has been such a great supporter of all we have tried to do at D Bar,” Gerhard said.
“We are so proud to be a part of this neighborhood” he added. “It was very important to us to stay in Uptown.”
Mike Zoellner, president of RedPeak, is thrilled to have D Bar Restaurant as a tenant.
“Keegan and Lisa were our preferred choice from the outset,” Zoellner said.
“They are a creative and a beloved member of the Uptown neighborhood who will provide a high quality dining option for our residents and an interesting option for all of downtown,” Zoellner said.
It was crucial that corner had a great tenant, he said.
“From the original concept design of this community, we have always imagined a high quality, and widely respected chef driven restaurant for this important corner of our streetscape,” Zoellner said.
The LEED Silver certified One City Block has 9,800 square feet dedicated to restaurant space.
With this deal, One City Block has two retail spaces available that are listed by Sanborn and Co.
