The Denver-area real estate brokers were honored on Thursday, in an event that drew hundreds of people from the industry.

The Denver Metro Association of Realtors with more than 5,000 members, also announced it is selling its headquarters building of the past 30 years.

DMAR hosted its 36th Annual Realtor Roundtable of Excellence Awards Luncheon at the Infinity Park Event Center in Glendale, recognizing Denver area’s top performers in residential real estate for 2013.

“The event gathered nearly 700 people to pay tribute to our members, colleagues and friends for their 2013 production totals and to honor our profession, our association, our affiliates and all those whose hard work, community involvement and professional success exemplify the spirit of Realtors here in metro Denver and throughout Colorado,” said Eric Mott, chairman of DMAR.

“The real estate professionals recognized today represent some of the finest Realtors in the nation,” said Ann Turner, CEO of DMAR.

“Their knowledge, expertise and outstanding work in real estate are invaluable to the industry,” she added.

Greg Geller, owner of Vision Real Estate, won the individual Realtor category for most sides. Geller completed 123 sides last year.

“I’m excited to see that the hard work our team put in this year led to these fantastic results,” said Geller, who later this year assumes the position of chairman of the association.

“We demand a lot of ourselves and we expect to be among the most productive and successful real estate companies in our area every year,” Geller added.

“We have had 30 years of heritage at this building, and, while the decision was not taken lightly, we are moving forward with a contract to sell the property,” Mott continued. “We are considering a few options for a new central hub location that we will share with you in the coming months. Our vision for the Metro Association of Realtors‘ headquarters is a more tech-savvy space that further positions us as the real estate leader of the region.”
