When ULC brought Phillip L. Schulman in from D.C. last October to discuss the changes to the GFE (among other changes), we booked the Sheraton for the event. That's when I found out they would be closing at the end of this year. According to the event planners I spoke with, that property is being converted to an assisted living community. I don't have any confirmations from anyone on this except for the fact that they've fenced it off and the employees were pretty certain that it was going to happen.
