Adams County: Outside bidders buy 475 percent more foreclosures

Outside bidders purchased 115 foreclosed homes from the public trustee’s office in the second quarter, a 475 percent increase from the 20 sales in the second quarter of 2008, a whopping 475 percent increase.

Denver-area foreclosures in the Denver area first half of 2009 fell by 10.5 from the first six months of 2008.

There were 10,727 foreclosure filings in the seven-county area, compared with 11,992 from January through June of 2008, according to county public trustee offices surveyed by InsideRealEstateNews.com.
